Adamantine, also known as adamantium or adamant, is a metal with supernatural properties found in Gunung, Pavonia and a number of other regions.
This extremely heat resistant metal is the pride of Gunung and is scooped from the lava canals of its capital in great quantities. Molten adamantium cools much more slowly then all other known metals but once it has cooled it is almost impossible to melt or even warm it again.
Adamantium is extremely hard to refine and work with and as of 330 the Berapi could only pour very unrefined adamantium that is more brittle then iron. Under Topiltzin I the amount of Adamantium that can be scooped from the canals was increased significantly.
