Andus Fitzrion was a bastard son of King Rion of Celero. It is believed that Rion's wife Fern Cascade forced him to recognise his son. She forced her father to officially adopt Andus in 430, paving the way for his future leadership of AQUA..
He later married Ginger Grant-Tremblor, adopted daughter of the claimant Martin Grant-Tremblor, in a move widely seen as finally reconciling the two principal factions in AQUA government.
He had the Celerese appearance, tall and hard, with fair skin and wavy blonde hair. He followed the Islander dress, eschewing a shirt when possible. People, particularly women, noticed. Looking at him, you could clearly see why his father was rumored to have been quite the libertine. By Islander measurement he was 23 and 2/3 links tall, 1 chain, 140 links in weight.
He was the primary driving force for AQUA joining the Salterri Imperium, and for the formation of the Seaborne Confederation. He died in 495 from exhaustion culminating from twenty years of constant travel and diplomatic endeavor.
